Andy and Lucy Lovell, French property search


Dear Andy and Lucy,

Following your email this morning I now understand that the preferred location is France. This should make finding what you are looking for easier as there is more scope with regards new build properties on the French side of the border.  

I had already done some preliminary research on some options, please see below 3 very different developments to give you some idea of what i can source on your behalf.

Option 1:

A new Villa development on the outskirts of Nice

I thought would be a great option for you. It is called “Les Jardins de Bellet”. There are 9 four bedroom villas still available (out of 10) and prices range from € 528,650 to € 1,035,500 (Incl. VAT), set to be delivered in March 2011.

The development is divided as follow:
5 villas (3 with swimming pools) at the upper part of the site
1 villa (the biggest one) at the central part of the site
4 villas (with private swimming pool) at the lowest part of the site








The development will comprise of 10 luxury villas with a classic architecture embellished with large terraces and swimming pools spread in a park of around 2 ha sq m. On the upper part of the property will be built 5 villas, with 100 to 140 sq m of living space, 3 of which with private swimming pool. Its two terminals offer flights with the following major airlines: Aeroflot, Air Algérie, Air France-KLM, Air Maroc, Austrian Airlines, Alitalia, British Airways, British Midland, Delta Air Lines, EasyJet, Emirates, Iberia, Lufthansa, SAS, Swiss, Tunis Air… which link Nice to the majority of France’s international and regional airports and a number of major international destinations.



Option 3 

Located in the heart of the Camargue National Park, just 1 hour west of Marseille, the Domaine des Flamants Roses leaseback property comprises of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom contemporary cottages. Phase I is due for completion Q2 201

This development offers the opportunity of a fully managed holiday home with no cost or hassle and a potential income with a full VAT rebate, might just be worth considering.

La Camargue

 

La Camargue is Western Europe’s largest river delta, a triangular coastal area between the Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence just 1 hour from Marseille and covering some 930km2, where the river Rhône meets the Mediterranean Sea.

Established as a national park and nature reserve in 1972, La Camargue contains exceptional bio-diversity with over 400 species f birds including the ubiquitous pink flamingos and unique breeds of horses and bulls.

 

Salin-de-Giraud

This devlopment is located in the small charming village of Salin-de-Giraud, a stone’s throw from the chic coastal resort of Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer and only 25 miles from Arles city centre.

Accessibility

Domaine des Flamants Roses is easily accessible with direct low-costs flights operated by Ryanair from Luton and Liverpool to Nîmes-Arles-Camargue Airport just 20km west of Arles or to the larger international airports of Marseille (1 hour) and Montpellier (1 hour 15 mins).

The area can also be reached by high speed train with Nimes and Arles stations nearby (50 and 40 minutes respectively) or by road (Paris 7 hours, Lyon 3 hours and Marseille 1 hour). 

The communal areas of Domaine des Flamants Roses will be dedicated to relaxation and comfort with a wide range of superb on-site amenities including:
